In a summary of a passage in a book on gender roles in evangelical families, one student writes:

He acknowledges the idea of raising the children [himself?] but states that women are more capable of nutering the children than men are.

Nurture, neuter, to-mae-to, to-mah-to …

Later in the paper the student shares his “opioin.”

    I have a long list of them somewhere, too. What is so sad is that we do have spell check. How hard is it? *sigh* Oh well, keep ’em coming. Maybe we can bundle them and sell them as toxic assets.

    I had to dig this one out from last semester. Swear this is cut and pasted! This is my best in 20 years:

    “Russia sent up “ Spudnik”, or whatever the satilite was called, way before we (Americans) were ever to send Lance Armstrong to the moon.”

    Left me speechless.
